Communications Committee

Christ Church communicates with parishioners, friends and neighbors in a variety of media and formats:

Our web site is maintained by a team of editors.
Calendars: We maintain a building use calendar (with everything occuring at our complex) as well as publish a 90-day calendar at the end of each month.
This Week at Christ Church. Our weekly email with necessary announcements.
Recent printed bulletin announcements are on our homepage.
The Parishioner. Our long-term newsletter, now quarterly, newsletter has a tradition of being written by members and includes a variety of news, poetry, articles of interest and photos.

The Communications Committee is a team of artists, graphic designers, production personnel, photographers, writers and liaisons who work together to communicate and promote church activities, events and information to our members and to the community. We plan, develop and maintain the church web site; edit the quarterly newsletter; create and place advertisements; send press releases; create fliers, signage and banners; maintain email lists; and just about anything covering church communications. We also create ad hoc (event posters and sign-up sheets) and publication quality documents such as Christ Church Profile, part of our 2009 - 2010 search process. We welcome additional members to the committee. We do not hold any meetings, but instead work as ad hoc teams as needs and skill sets evolve.
