Vestry minutes for January and February 2008 are now online.

Watch for our new Vestry home page that is coming soon.

Children's Sunday School during the 8:15am service begins May 4 (Rainforest Adventure), ages 3 - 6, but older siblings of younger children are also invited to share in this time. Our theme is "Rainforest Adventure: A Tree-top Bible Blast." Join us under the canopy in the Upper Rooms for an exciting time of studying God's world and the Bible stories that teach us how to share with each other and love God's people. We will have music, crafts and storytelling. Come on May 4th and try it out. Judith or Bill, and parents will lead the class. Email Judith if you can come.

Art & Faith on May 10 from 1:30 - 4:00pm Calling the artists in our community. Join us for our arts open studio afternoon. Bring your easel, sketch pad, writing book, collage materials, fabric, or what- have-you to create some art in our courtyard or parish hall, weather depending. Contact Andrea Harles or at 202.547.3288 for additional information.

Please e-mail Janice Knopp if you can also volunteer to help set-up or clean-up.

The Final Version of the Vestry's five year strategic plan for Christ Church is now available.  The plan's purpose is to provide a vision for what we hope Christ Church will be and become by the end of 2012 - and to set out a road map for realizing that vision.   The plan is available in two formats: MSWord and Adobe pdf.

Please bring a can or box of food on Sunday so CCWP can continue to both Food Pantries, helping to alleviate some hunger. Contact Carol Knight.
